Mumbai lockdown news: Today's updates



The 

Maharashtra government

 announced extension of the general lockdown until July 31 with an aim to contain the 

Covid-19 surge

. The notification issued by the state government has also restricted inter-district travel between municipal corporations within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) to that for office purposes and essential activities like medical reasons.


*Maharashtra reported 11,147 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, its single highest addition in a day so far since the beginning of the 

pandemic

. The highest addition until then was 10,576 on July 22. The total cases in the state are now 4,11,798; of these, 1,48,150 are active cases

An estimated 17,220 Covid-19 patients were intravenously administered Remdesivir and 28,250 more were given Tocilizumab injections in the state between June 15 and July 28, shows data compiled by the Food and Drug Administration.

रांची, जासं।  झारखंड में आज गुरुवार को कोरोनावायरस के 180 नए पॉजिटिव केस मिले हैं। इसके अलावा 7 लोगों की मौत हुई है। रांची के रिम्‍स अस्‍पताल से मिली रिपोर्ट के अनुसार आज कुल 1076 सैंपलों की जांच की गई। इसमें से 1042 सैंपल निगेटिव पाए गए। 33 पॉजिटिव में से रिम्‍स से 11, गढ़वा से 2, पलामू से 10 और रांची से 10 पॉजिटिव केस मिले हैं। इससे पहले बुधवार को झारखंड में 541 मरीज मिले थे और 8 लोगों की मौत हुई थी। झारखंड में अब तक कोरोना के मामले 10 हजार से अधिक हो गए हैं। इसके अलावा 100 से ज्‍यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई है। झारखंड में लगातार कोरोना पॉजिटिव मामले बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। रांची में सबसे अधिक सक्रिय केस हैं। राज्य में सात और कोरोना मरीजों की गई जान राज्य में कोरोना का कहर जारी है। गुरुवार को भी राज्य में सात कोरोना मरीजों ने इलाज के क्रम में दम तोड़ दिया। वहीं, गुरुवार को भी शाम तक 180 नए मरीजों की पहचान हो चुकी थी। इससे राज्य में सक्रिय मरीजों की संख्या बढ़कर छह हजार से अधिक हो गई है। गुरुवार को रिम्स कोविड अस्पताल में तीन मरीजों की मौत हो गई। इनमें से एक चतरा तथा दो रांची के हेहल तथा सुखदेवन

‘Touch the sky with glory’: Rafale jets get warm welcome from Indian warship

The official handle of the Defence Minsitry also greeted the contingent on Twitter when it entered the Indian airspace. The first batch of Rafale fighter jets Wednesday received a warm welcome from the Indian Navy warship, INS Kolkata, deployed in Western Arabian Sea, as they made their way towards IAF’s Ambala airbase.
